Assistant Massage therapist

We are looking for a candidate who has worked as a Massage Therapist assistant and working towards becoming a Massage Therapist. You will be: Assisting the massage therapist in meeting personal care needs for clients. Assisting clients with their communication and mobility needs. Assisting the Massage Therapist in planning the care of individuals. Assisting Massage therapists with basic treatments for clients using massage techniques. Assisting the Massage Therapists to prepare oil blends for clients skin and assisting to perform other treatment techniques and therapies in addition to massage. Following massage therapy plans to assist those with behavioural problems. Observing and reporting changes in clients condition and reporting complaints about massage care back to the Massage Therapist. Assisting Massage Therapist in providing massage rehabilitation treatment plans by providing direct support and assistances. Ideal candidate who is a graduate in this with a Bachelors programme with some work skills and or 6 months of relevant work experience and or NZQF Level 2 & 3 qualifications. Location of work is Downtown Auckland so ideally looking at candidates who are centrally located.
