Class 4 Truck Driver - Immediate Start

An East Tamaki -based employer is seeking a Class 4 Truck Driver to work across various projects across the Auckland metro area.

Daily responsibilities include operating a concrete truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to residential, commercial, and construction sites in a safe and timely manner.

Duties involve loading and unloading concrete, ensuring correct mix and slump, and coordinating with dispatch and site personnel.

The role requires conducting pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining the truck’s cleanliness, and adhering to road safety and company policies.

Drivers are responsible for accurate delivery documentation, managing time schedules, and providing good customer service on-site. Compliance with health and safety regulations, including safe handling of materials and awareness of site hazards, is essential.

• Full, clean Class 4 driver licence required. • Must be flexible with working hours, including the ability to work occasional night shifts if required. • Experience driving a concrete truck is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided over a two week period. • A good understanding of road safety is essential, along with being physically fit, reliable, and able to follow all health and safety procedures. • A basic understanding of general truck maintenance is required, and candidates must be willing to carry out routine vehicle checks and maintenance tasks as part of the role. • Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are required. • Must be able to pass criminal history MOJ check and drug testing.
