Residential Painter

We are looking for a skilled and confident Residential House Painter to join our team on a casual contract basis. This role involves working on a variety of residential painting projects with hours varying depending on workload. Typical work hours fall between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday with an expected 30+ hours per week when work is available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality painting finishes across interior and exterior surfaces. A strong focus on spray painting is essential as many projects require efficient and precise spray application. Daily tasks may include:

Preparing surfaces by cleaning sanding filling and masking Applying paint using spray equipment rollers and brushes Ensuring clean even and professional finishes Maintaining and cleaning spray equipment and tools Following safety procedures and protecting surrounding areas from overspray Working independently and managing time effectively Communicating clearly with supervisors regarding progress and materials needed

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Proven experience in residential painting Strong spray painting skills and confidence using spray equipment No minimum years of experience required but must be highly competent Ability to work independently and maintain high standards Physically fit and capable of manual labour Reliable punctual and able to adapt to changing workloads Commitment to safe work practices
