Electrician

A facilities management services company will soon partner with the New Zealand Defence Force to provide essential facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure services across camps and bases throughout Aotearoa. We are on a hunt for Electricians for Whenuapai Air Base to support the environments that enable NZDF personnel to focus on protecting and serving New Zealand communities. What You’ll Be Doing : • Carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, installations, and testing in line with legislation, standards, and licensing requirements. • Applying safe work practices, completes risk assessments, and ensures all work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard. • Complying with all contract requirements and Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures. • Working collaboratively with other trades, subcontractors, and site personnel.

• Must have NZ Electrical Registration • NC L4 Electrical Engineering or trade qualified • Driver Licence Class 1 • Internal and External electrical maintenance including rewiring, new wiring, lighting. • Proven Health & Safety training and experience. • The legal right to work in Aotearoa, ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check. • Ability to meet NZDF specific security requirements
