Plumber

A facilities management services company will soon partner with the New Zealand Defence Force to provide essential facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure services across camps and bases throughout Aotearoa.

We are on a hunt for Plumbers for Whenuapai Air Base to support the environments that enable NZDF personnel to focus on protecting and serving New Zealand communities.

What You’ll Be Doing : • Carrying out reactive and planned plumbing maintenance, repairs, and minor installation works across the site and in accordance with relevant NZ plumbing standards and codes of practice. • Diagnosing faults and determines appropriate repair methods. • Performing all work in accordance with contract specifications, scope, and service levels. • Complying with all contract requirements and Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures. • Working collaboratively with other trades, subcontractors, and site personnel.

• A First Aid Certificate (an advantage but not required). • Drain laying licence / registration. • At least 12 months experience in relevant job expertise in trades in which specifically involves plumbing. • Proven Health & Safety training and experience. • The legal right to work in Aotearoa, ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check. • Ability to meet NZDF specific security requirements.
