Dairy Manager
About this job
This family-owned dairy looking for a hands-on Manager with a strong business or commerce background to take ownership of the store operations. This is a key leadership role where you’ll oversee day-to-day operations while ensuring tight financial controls, strong systems, and high standards across the shop and team.
Key responsibilities: • Lead and carry out regular internal audits across: - Cash handling, reconciliations & banking, stock control. - Supplier invoices, pricing & credits - Internal processes and systems • Maintain clear audit trails and strong internal controls. • Identifying risks, gaps, and inefficiencies – and fix them • Report financial insights and audit findings to the owners • Ensure shop hygiene and food safety standards are met • All HR requirements, ensure staff follow systems, procedures, and controls • Oversee end-to-end store operations

Job Requirements
What we’re looking for: • Background in business, commerce, or similar • Experience in auditing, internal controls, compliance (retail, grocery, FMCG or hospitality ideal) • Proven stability and tenure in previous roles • High attention to detail, integrity, and accountability • Comfortable working closely with owners in a family-run environment

- This role is 40 hours a week with flexible start and finish times to work around the business demands. (40 hours per week)
