Assistant Store Manager

We’re looking for an energetic and people-focused Assistant Store Manager to help create a welcoming, high-performing store environment where both customers and team members feel connected and valued.
This role is all about supporting your team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining high operational standards, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the store runs smoothly day to day, while also supporting the growth and development of the wider team.
Key Responsibilities: * Support staffing and scheduling needs beyond just roster creation * Ensure training is well planned, clearly communicated, completed, and accurately recorded * Coach and develop team members, including leading constructive and sometimes challenging conversations * Maintain store cleanliness, organisation, and appropriate stock levels * Uphold consistent operational and quality standards * Plan and prioritise store operations effectively * Identify trends and guide actions that improve store performance and results * Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service experiences

Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring: * Proven experience in hospitality or retail operations management * A passion for customer service and creating memorable customer moments * Strong time management and organisational skills * Experience coaching, training, and developing team members * Clear and confident communication skills * The ability to lead practices that align with strong values and purpose * A positive, solutions-focused mindset that sees challenges as opportunities for improvement * The ability to remain quick, calm, and collected in a fast-paced environment * Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and MOJ check. * Applicants must be able to provide an updated CV and have contactable referees
