About this job

You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking twice a day, shifting cows and feeding, fencing, weed control, calving, calf rearing, shed cleaning and setup, identifying and alerting managers to sick cows, setting fences and other general farm duties. A solo 3-bedroom house is included. This is valued at $15,600 per annum and will be deducted as rent from your wages. Pets or smoking are not permitted in the accommodation

Job Requirements

-must be able to pass pre employment checks like Drug test and MOJ check (MOJ must be clean) - A clean NZ Full Class 1 Driver Licence - experience with quad bike (preferred) - Physically fit and strong -comfortable with manual labour & heavy lifting -comfortable with rostered shifts including early mornings and weekends -Workplace is based in Onewhero (near Pukekohe) - though some experience would be advantageous training can be provided to the right candidate -comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions -an up to date CV on file -accommodation is available on site and the rent is deducted from wages. No smoking or pets

Days of work
The schedule may vary but generally work hours are between 5am and 5pm with breaks; Roster will be 6 days on, 1 day off. (52 hours per week)
