Logistics Assistant/Store Person

We’re an established greengrocer supplying fresh produce across three Dunedin locations, supported by a central warehouse. We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking team member to support our daily logistics and stock movement.
Key Responsibilities
-Receive and check incoming goods for quality and accuracy -Unload deliveries and handle fresh produce with care -Sort, store, and label stock correctly -Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery -Transport stock between warehouse and stores (company vehicle provided) -Update stock levels using basic computer systems -Assist with stocktakes and inventory control -Operate equipment such as forklifts and order pickers
About You
-Reliable, punctual, and physically fit -Strong attention to detail and able to work efficiently -Comfortable with early morning starts -Full Class 1 driver licence -Forklift licence (or willing to obtain) -Able to pass a drug test and police check -Team player with a positive attitude
Job Requirements
-NZQA Level 2 or 3 qualification OR at least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role -Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks - lifting 20kgs -Full, clean driver licence (required for stock transfers) -Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently -Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes -Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail produce environment is an advantage -Must have an up-to-date CV with two referees May include weekend work
Preferred (Not Essential) -Experience in retail, food supply, or fresh produce industries -Current forklift licence
