Landscaper and Garden Maintenance Person

A Taupo-based family-owned garden maintenance company is looking for a reliable and hard-working team member to join its growing mowing, gardening, and landscaping business. What they do: Lawn mowing, weed eating and edging, garden tidy-ups, planting, and managing regular clients’ gardens around Taupo. Landscaping projects big and small. Evidence of a strong work ethic and positive attitude Reliable, punctual, efficient and self-driven Physically fit and enjoys outdoor work – this is physically hard work Plant knowledge and relevant experience in gardening is important This role would suit a reliable worker who is happy working outdoors and has plant maintenance/gardening knowledge/experience. The employer can provide additional training along the way but work ethic is VERY important. Full driver licence is required and being able to use own initiative as you could be sent off on gardening/lawn jobs by yourself. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Experience with lawn mowing, weed eating, edging, or gardening tools Gardening / plant knowledge is important Full driver’s licence (required) Physically fit and able to handle outdoor, hands-on work, in different weather conditions (essential) Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and use your own initiative (Evidence of this is needed) A First Aid cert (desirable) Up to date and relevant CV Min of two work related referees (or school -related if just left school) Available for immediate start Must pass a MOJ check and pre employment drug test
