Forestry Worker
About this job
To carry out forestry and silviculture work safely, reliably and to the required quality, while contributing to a productive crew culture and meeting client, environmental and health and safety requirements. Tasks will include silviculture and forestry field work, manual handling, pre-start checks, hazard identification, using hand tools, equipment and chemicals when trained. Travelling to and from worksites and staying away from home when working requires it.
Job Requirements
1-year relevant experience. Must be able to pass MOJ checks and drug tests. Physically fit and able to perform demanding outdoor work safely.
- Days of work
- Monday to Saturday inclusive subject to weather and stand-down provisions. Hours vary based on location of the work (40 hours per week)
