We are looking for a registered nurse to join our HbU in Tauranga to provide after-hours outreach service.
Our team provides a culturally safe, responsive health support to whanau through our HbU Health Service. This role works alongside our kaimahi and Prescribing Clinician to deliver clinical triage and outreach support, helping ensure whanau can access the care and services they need.
Working through a whanau centred, community based approach, you will support the delivery of flexible health and social support while helping raise the awareness and participation in primary health initiative across our community.
We operate a rotating roster, this position may include some after hours mobile health service with flexibility to work around your schedule. The role is varied and hands on, requiring initiative , efficiency, and strong commitment to whanau centred care and culturally safe practice.
What you will bring. Registered Nurse with a current registration with the Nursing Council of NZ, or Enrolled Nurse, or could suit a similar Allied Health Professional such as Health Care Assistant. Experience in community, primary care, health promotion or outreach health services. Strong relationship building and communication skills Sound computer literacy MS office, Medtech Evolution or similar patient management systems, experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Understanding of Te Ao Maori and kaupapa Maori approach to health.
