Sales & Restoration Specialist – Persian Rugs

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sales & Restoration Specialist to join our team in Ellerslie. This is a unique opportunity for someone who appreciates the craftsmanship and history behind Persian and handmade rugs, and enjoys working closely with customers.

Key Responsibilities: • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing rugs that suit their needs and style. • Identify the origin, quality, and value of Persian and handmade rugs. • Provide expert advice on rug care, maintenance, and preservation. • Perform or assist with rug cleaning and restoration processes. • Manage stock and maintain attractive in-store displays.

• Minimum 1+ year of experience working with Persian or handmade rugs, or at least 5 years of strong retail sales experience. • Strong knowledge of rug types, materials, and craftsmanship. • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills. • Attention to detail and a genuine interest in restoration work. • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently. • Available to work on weekends.
