We’re on the lookout for an experienced Asphalt Raker to join a busy civil surfacing crew working across Canterbury. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team delivering quality work across roading, subdivisions, and commercial projects. This is hands-on, physical work where your attention to detail and ability to keep up with the pace will set you apart.
What You Will Be Doing
Raking and levelling hot mix asphalt Assisting with asphalt laying and finishing Working closely with paver operators and roller drivers Ensuring a high-quality finish on all surfaces Supporting general site labouring as required Following health and safety procedures at all times
Job Requirements
What We Require
Proven experience as an Asphalt Raker Background in roading or civil surfacing Good understanding of asphalt placement and finishing Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work well in a fast-paced team Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Convictions case by case Must hold either a restricted or full license
