Forklift Operator
About this job
We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join a busy horticulture operation in Gore. This is a hands-on role supporting the movement, storage, and processing of flower bulbs during peak season.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail are key.
Key responsibilities Operating a forklift to move stock and materials -Loading and unloading trucks -Assisting with storage and distribution of product -Supporting processing and packing operations -Maintaining a clean and safe work environment -Following all health & safety procedures
Some admin or office work is also involved in this role. Suitable candidates must be working with computers, scanner, accurate counting/weighing. and able to check in and out goods,
Job Requirements
What we’re looking for -Full licence -Current OSH Forklift Certificate (F endorsement preferred) -Previous forklift experience (horticulture or warehousing an advantage) -Physically fit and able to assist with manual tasks when required -Reliable with a strong work ethic -Able to work as part of a team -Willing to follow instructions and safety processes -Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and MOJ checks
