A Whangarei based roofing company is seeking a reliable, hardworking Trade Assistant to support the team across a range of roofing and general labour tasks, and someone with 3+ years experience.

Trade Assistant/Roofer: $23.95/hour Experienced Roofer: $25-40/hour depending on experience

The work is hands on, physical, and varies day to day, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being outdoors and getting stuck in.

Key Responsibilities - Assisting with longline roofing on homes and sheds - Supporting demolition tasks as required - Acting as a groundy, including humping and passing sheets - General labouring duties - Cleaning work areas and packing tools away - Following instructions and maintaining safe work practices on site

If travelling outside Whangarei, pickup can be arranged. For local jobs, you’ll drive yourself. Fuel allowance is negotiable depending on location.

This will be a casual contract, working 20 to 30 hours per week, with a 1 to 2 day trial to ensure the role is a good fit.
