Caregiver

We are looking for exceptional carers to join our close-knit care team located in Henderson. You must be able to: • Ensure that all contractual and legislative obligations are met for residents. • Recognise and respect each resident as unique, with a right to personal dignity, self-determination and privacy regardless of past or present lifestyle or abilities. • Maintain independence without compromising any support an individual may need. •Assist with personal cares (showering, bathing). • Ensure adequate fluid and nutritional intake. • Support exercise programmes. • Bowel, Bladder, and Catheter cares. • Manage moving and handling hoists and manual transfers. • Medication support. • Support of communication and socialisation.

Applicants MUST: • Have a Health and Wellbeing or equal qualification (level 1 or 2). • Have skills and knowledge in the care of dependent elderly people. Experience would be an advantage. • Be punctual and reliable and contributes to resident care as a dependable team member. • Be flexible to work on a 24/7 roster. •Have at least a restricted DL and their own transport
