About this job

We are seeking reliable and customer-focused Urban Bus Driver's to join our team. This role is responsible for providing safe, efficient and friendly transport services to passengers while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety.

Key responsibilities include: -Operate a transit bus on scheduled routes in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. -Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops. Assist passengers with special needs, including elderly or disabled individuals. -Monitor fare collection, ensure correct fare payment, and issue transfers when applicable. -Communicate effectively with dispatchers, especially in the case of delays, accidents, or emergencies. -Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior. -Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance team promptly. -Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies. -Complete daily vehicle inspection checklists and required logs. -Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emergency situations.

Job Requirements

• Must have clean Full Class 4 driver licence with P endorsement • Reliable transport to get to and from work • Available to work across Auckland • Must be able to pass drug test, medical check, MOJ check, police vetting check and VCA (Vulnerable Children's Act) Safety Check Must have a clean drivers license and able to pass a MOJ.

Days of work
Split shifts. Based on a weekly rolling roster, 6 days per week, for a maximum of 70 hours per week as per NZTA regulations. (30 hours per week)
