A French cafe/restaurant in Takapuna has a great opportunity for a hospitality all- rounder. You'll be working as a kitchenhand who can also help run front of house. Duties include: • Assisting with food prep and mis-en-place • Preparing and cooking food for service and assisting with food service • Helping with front of house service, including set up and customer service • Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards • General kitchen/restaurant cleaning and stock handling
Job Requirements
We are looking for • A positive attitude and willingness to learn • Good time management and the ability to work under pressure • Someone reliable, punctual, and a team player • Previous experience working in a restaurant/cafe or similar hospitality setting • Flexibility to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays • Ability to work competently under pressure Must have reliable transport to get to work as this is a rostered position working split lunch and early dinner shifts. Training is provided.
