Class 2 Truck Driver

Job Title: Class 2 Truck Driver. Location: Papakura.

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Class 2 Truck Drivers to join our team based in Papakura. This role offers a great opportunity for individuals who are safety-focused, physically fit, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Operate Class 2 trucks for transport and delivery of goods • Manoeuvre vehicles into loading and unloading positions • Load and unload trailer trays safely and efficiently • Ensure all goods are securely strapped and transported without damage • Verify load contents against manifest documentation • Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service • Maintain communication with dispatch as required • Comply with all driving rules and regulations (including weight, route, and break requirements) • Report any maintenance issues or delivery concerns promptly • Inspect goods for damage and complete incident reports where necessary • Accurately complete and submit logbooks on time • Conduct pre-trip vehicle checks (oil, water, fuel, air pressure, etc.) • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and carry out minor maintenance • Follow all health & safety procedures and traffic laws at all times.

• Clean and current Class 2 Driver Licence (or overseas equivalent) • 6–12 months of experience in a similar driving role. • Clean driving record with no previous incidents. • No criminal convictions. • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing. • Physically fit and capable of manual handling and lifting. • Strong understanding of Health & Safety and logbook requirements. • Ability to work independently with good time management skills. • Mechanically minded (advantageous). • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and focus on results. • Pass pre-employment checks.
