Gas Cylinder tester

A gas supply business in Tauranga are looking for a trainee gas cylinder tester.
● Customer service duties (providing timely cylinder testing and service duties to meet customer expectations) ● Pass any customer comments, questions or complaints to company management General Duties ● Comply with Company processes relating to documentation of cylinder testing process. ● Comply with the daily testing/servicing schedule as maintained by your Supervisor and/or Site Manager. ● Acquire, maintain knowledge of, and comply with technical publications, standards, regulations and guidelines in relation to cylinder testing, identification and gas traffic. ● Carry out preventative and reactionary maintenance on workshop equipment, report and isolate all equipment that has (or potentially has) a safety failure. ● Carry out routine calibration and maintain documentation of workshop weighing equipment. ● Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to the safe inspection, testing and/or servicing of cylinders. ● Ensure that the correct customer identification of cylinders is maintained throughout the testing/servicing process. ● Ensure your workspace and workshop area is maintained in a safe and tidy manner. ● Comply with company policies relating to the wearing and use of Personal Protective Equipment at all times. ● Follow Company Standard Operating Procedures when filling cylinders with and pressurised substance. ● Any other duties as may be required by your Supervisor and/or Site Manager.

Job Requirements
Need to be great with walk-in customers and health and safety conscious. You will be trained 'on the job' and will be able to obtain a Gas Handlers/Fillers Certificate. Drug free
Must have a class 1 drivers licence and able to obtain a forklift licence.
