Shift Supervisor

Do you speak Hindi and looking for a role in hospitality. Local restaurant is looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor. Role responsibilities: Acknowledge and resolve customer enquiries and complaints quickly, keeping matters professional and well documented. - Assisting with inventory, stock management and record-keeping. - Maintaining professional relationships with the suppliers. - Assist the manager to plan rosters, prepare daily work schedules, and allocate staff to sections and duties to meet service demands. - Assist the restaurant manager with onboarding new staff members, training, etc. - Monitor stock levels, conduct inventories, and order supplies. - Confirm that pricing is accurate and menus and displays are clear, current, and well presented. - Enforce health, safety, food safety, and security procedures at all times. - Organising and coordinating special events, promotions, and marketing campaigns to attract new customers. - Ensuring food plan is complete. - Assisting to ensure prompt, courteous service and consistent quality in our food, beverages, and overall guest experience.

Minimum qualifications/experience: At least 1 year experience in a similar role at a restaurant or Level 3 Certificate in Food and Beverage Service plus some hospitality experience.

- Must be able to get Manager’s certificate if you don't already have - LCQ certificate - First Aid Certificate - Food safety certificate - Must be able to work late nights, weekends and Public Holidays - Restaurant will operate in two shift (till 1:30 am on a Fri and Sat) - Familiarity with Indian cuisine and ingredients will be advantageous. - Speaking at least a little Hindi.
