Mobile care giver

Opportunities are currently available for mobile carers to care for and work with people with disabilities and the elderly out in the communities of Whakatane, Kawerau and Opotiki. Responsibilities will vary greatly depending on the needs of the client. As a home based carer you could be administering medication, assisting clients with day-to-day tasks, both at home and out in the community. This workplace prides itself on looking after staff and full training is provided. Upon 12 weeks of service successful applicants can pursue NQZA accredited qualifications in health, levels 2, 3 and 4. If you are sensible, honest, reliable and exercise good judgement with some good life-skills please register your interest. A full licence, own reliable vehicle (appropriate travel assistance is paid), some good life-skills and clean police record are required.
Minimum pay rates: No qualifications $24.00/hr, Level 2 $25.30/hr, Level 3 $27.50/hr
Prior to employment, three part-day inductions and trainings sessions will be given. Although a minimum of 10 hours/fortnight are guaranteed however, the expectation would be at least 15-20hrs/week. Hard copy application to be completed.
