CNC Machine Operator – Cutting / Press Brake

Mt Wellington based premier Steel Plate processing company offering Design services, Oxy Fuel Cutting, Plasma Cutting, Laser Cutting, Press Braking / Folding, Bevelling, Rolling and other services are looking for 1 - 2 CNC Machine Operators to join their production team.
The role will involve operating CNC cutting machines (plasma/laser) and/or press brake folding to manufacture steel and aluminium components to specification.
Duties include- • Operating CNC cutting and/or press brake machinery • Interpreting drawings and job instructions • Setting up jobs and checking dimensions and tolerances • Maintaining a safe and tidy work area • Working as part of a team to meet production timelines

Job Requirements
• Previous experience as a CNC machine operator (cutting and/or press brake) • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings • Good attention to detail and accuracy • Reliable, punctual, and safety focused • Willingness to work rotating shifts if required • Forklift licence an advantage but not essential • CNC operating experience (formal qualification preferred but not essential) • Full Class 1 Drivers licence and Reliable Transport • Ability for pass pre employment checks - Ministry of Justice and Drug test • Must be physically fit

- Monday – Friday Rotating 12 hour shifts – days or nights (4 on / 4 off) 8am - 5pm (40 hours per week)
