Courier Delivery Driver

A Wellington Business is looking for a Courier Driver in the central Wellington Region. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately scan freight (onboard, delivered, pickups, etc.) and follow all delivery and pickup instructions • Organise freight efficiently to prevent delays, damages, or missed deliveries • Ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods according to cycle schedules • Prioritise urgent items such as medicines and perishable goods for first-cycle delivery • Return all pickups and non-delivered items to the designated location • Operate the vehicle safely without disrupting traffic or causing hazards • Ensure correct accounts are charged and complete all required paperwork • Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly • Comply with all driving laws, regulations, and company policies • Liaise with the customer service team to ensure excellent customer experience • Follow all health and safety regulations

• Hold a full, clean driver’s licence • Dangerous Goods licence is preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate) • Ability to lift up to 25 kg (heavier items will be notified) • Available to work additional hours and public holidays when required • Positive, can-do attitude • Reliable and punctual • No criminal record • Must be able to pass a drug test • Must have an up to date CV
