Retail Assistant (Wellington or Paraparaumu)

Opportunity to work in a convenience store in Wellington CBD (Paraparaumu also available).
Duties: • Provide outstanding customer service and build trust and loyalty with customers • Understanding customer requirements and recommending product range, price, delivery, warranties and product use and care as per the instructions of the manager and /or technician • Assisting the manager in stock take • Stacking and displaying goods for sale and preparing the product for delivery • Work with a passionate team to reach sales targets • Processing payments and keeping up to date with daily admin tasks, including general cleanliness and presentation of the store • Maintaining high-store performance • Ensuring everyone’s safety by complying with Company’s Health and safety obligations.
Job Requirements
• At least 6 months experience in similar role. • A natural ability to build rapport with any customer and assist them during their visit. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills. • A proactive approach, motivation to achieve and improve continuously. • Must pass Ministry of Justice Check. • Must pass drug test.
- Days of work
- Between 30 hours and 40 hours from Monday to Friday. You maybe required to work on Saturday (depends on work load). (30 hours per week)
