A Rest Home in Mt Wellington is looking for casual healthcare assistant to provide care and assistance to residents in their Dementia care facility. There is a possibility the role will become permanent.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with bathing, showering, grooming, dressing, and toileting. • Health Monitoring & Support. • Supporting residents with dementia. • Providing companionship and emotional reassurance. • Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. • Supporting residents with mobility, including transfers, walking, and use of mobility aids. • Recording care provided and observations accurately. Job Requirements
*Combination or mixed shifts as needed up to 30 hours * Please apply with most updated CV outlining relevant experience * Min 1 year experience as a Healthcare Assistant * Must be able to work rostered shifts including weekends as required * Level 2 Certificate in Health & Wellbeing would be advantageous * Must have reliable transport and Full NZ drivers license due to the hours * Must be able to pass MOJ and drug test as required

- Rostered shifts over 7 days and 24 hours 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am (30 hours per week)
