Field Worker
About this job
Looking for an opportunity to get into Agriculture - harvesting pumpkins. A local contractor is searching for Field Workers to join them in their busy team. The work will be around the wider Canterbury area and will include but is not limited to harvesting, weeding, planting, spraying, and packing. Candidates must be physically fit and able to get to the pickup point (Hornby/Hoon Hay) at around 6.30am before being transported to the fields. Some weekend work will be required. Full on the job training and transport to and from the fields provided.
Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transport to get to pick up point. - Must be physically fit and capable of performing a physically demanding role for up to 9 hours per day. - Work weather dependant. - Willing to learn - Convictions case by case
- Days of work
- Mon - Fri 6.30 am start from pick up point in Hornby/Hoon Hay Work is weather dependant. (40 hours per week)
