Delivery Drivers

A courier company based in East Auckland is looking for reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will be responsible for picking up and delivering parcels to customers along assigned routes. This is a hands-on role that requires efficiency, attention to detail & good customer service skills.

You will be required to meet daily at the depot in Highbrook, East Tamaki & may travel across a wide delivery area, including routes as far as Waiheke Island.

Duties include: • Picking up and delivering parcels according to assigned routes • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring items are secure • Following delivery schedules and meeting daily targets • Scanning and accurately recording deliveries using electronic devices or paperwork • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any maintenance issues • Complying with NZTA road rules and company safety policies • Communicating with dispatch regarding delays or issues • Providing friendly and professional customer service • Keeping accurate records of deliveries and collections • Assisting with additional courier or logistics tasks as required

Must hold a full, clean Class 1 driver's licence with reliable transport to get to the depot

Must be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting and long hours

Strong understanding of local roads and navigation system

Must be able to pass a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check & drug test

Excellent time management, punctuality and ability to work under pressure
