Vehicle Detailer / Groomer

Onehunga based large used vehicle retailer with 11 dealerships across the country is looking for a Vehicle Details/ Groomer to join their team. The company take pride in delivering qualify service and providing best customer experience.

Duties will include -

* Check the body condition of the vehicles to ensure that it does not require further repairs, such as painting * Identify issues such as paint and body defects and report immediately so the flow is maintained smoothly * Cut and polish the vehicle to the required standard to retail *Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests * Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations * Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles * Performing Buffing duties on request * Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition * Managing inventory and reordering supplies * Follow standard operating procedures

To be successful in this position, our ideal candidate will have- * Minimal experience is required; training will be provided * Professional approach * Calm and accurate * Ability to work under pressure * Excellent attention to detail * Excellent time management and organisational skills * Must be Punctual and reliable * Strong physical fitness required * The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience * Teamwork - willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members * A valid drivers license and a clean driving record are required - Restricted of Full Class 1 licence
