Maintenance Labourer
About this job
We are looking for a hard working honest and reliable person to join our team here in Ashburton. The ideal person needs: • to have a lot of experience in building, and general maintenance, can build a fence or lay a deck etc. • must be tidy, trustworthy and want to work. • must have a great attitude and personality. • must have experiences in construction/building, and a knowing of timber. • must be a team player, but work alone unsupervised when required.
We are a local family business can work hours to suit with family commitments.
Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate must have: • must be a team player who can work alone unsupervised when required. • a mature outlook, is responsible • is reliable, is hands on with a great attitude. • have building knowledge/experience and know how to work with and understand timber • must pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol test. NB random tests are carried out. • must pass a MOJ check • must have a Class 1 – restricted or full licence • must have own reliable vehicle • must be legally allowed to work in New Zealand

- Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm (30 hours per week)
