A busy local berry farm looking for an energetic and reliable person to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working outdoors, isn't afraid of physical work, and is keen to grow into a leadership position over time.
Duties involve: - Care of strawberry plants, including planting, weeding, and general maintenance during off season - Harvesting fruit with care and attention to quality during peak season - Operating basic farm equipment - Basic repairs and maintenance to farm equipment and vehicles - Helping coordinate seasonal workers during busy periods - Supporting the farm manager with day-to-day operations
Job Requirements
- A motivated young person with a strong work ethic - Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions - A mechanical mindset - Willing to learn new skills and take on responsibility - Good communication skills and a positive attitude - Someone who can grow into a team-leader or supervisor role - Previous experience or relevant qualifications in the horticulture industry -Pass MOJ and drug test
