Grounds Maintenance Technician - Fixed term 16 weeks

About the Role In this hands on position, you’ll help maintain the grounds and surrounding areas of a large operational site. Your work will ensure the environment remains tidy, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors.

What You’ll Do Gain a Level 3 certificate in Primary industries Maintain lawns, gardens, and planted areas Carry out mowing, pruning, spraying, and weed control Keep hard surfaces and roadside areas clean and free of rubbish Report and remove graffiti Assist with fence line checks and vegetation clearance Support specialist contractors such as arborists Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles Complete check sheets, reports, and timesheets accurately Provide general labour support across teams Help ensure the site is always clean, tidy, and presentable

Minimum Restricted driver's license Reliable transport Strong problem solving skills and initiative Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical fitness and confidence with manual handling Good communication skills
