Onehunga based contract manufacturer offering expertise, capabilities, and services across consumer, commercial, and institutional cleaning, hygiene, and personal care products are looking for a Production Process worker to join their dynamic team in Onehunga and play a key role in assisting the Compounder with manufacturing and packing activities. Duties include: • Assisting in manufacturing and packing a wide range of cleaning, hygiene and personal care products. • Assisting the Compounder with following formulation sheets correctly to make liquid products, powder products, lotion products, flammable products and some hazardous products from time to time - this is the primary requirement. • Maintaining quality control records and samples. • Following instructions correctly and timely. • Using proper PPE always provided. • Handling chemicals and equipment in a safe manner; complying with work-safe requirements. • Maintaining a clean and organised manufacturing area. • Following environmental responsibility expectations. • Assisting in raw material stock takes and advising when reorders are required to ensure production or packaging is un-interrupted. • Assisting with any other jobs provided by the Operations Manager. Job Requirements

Job requirements • Preferably hold a Chemical Handling Certificate or be willing to obtain one • An appreciation and understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) • Good understanding of numeracy particularly in weighing and counting ingredients, temperatures, and basic calculations • Good level of physical fitness is required to lift, move 200-liter drums, as well as to bend and stand for extended periods • Mechanical awareness to run a production line, including a basic understanding on how the equipment works and connects • Hold a valid forklift licence and a restricted or full Class 1 driver licence with a reliable transport (free street parking available) • Drug-free and able to pass a pre-employment police check, strictly no convictions • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Up-to-date CV with at least 2 contactable references • You will be required to agree to a Confidentiality Agreement because of the contracts in place.

Days of work
Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm or 8am - 4:30pm. (30 hours per week)
