Commercial Cleaner

A Katikati based employer is looking for a Commercial Cleaner to join their team:

In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - - Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces including floors, walls, windows, doors, furniture, fixtures, and fittings. - Vacuuming carpets and mats, sweeping and mopping hard floors Carrying out periodic deep cleaning, including machine scrubbing, buffing, strip and polish, and carpet steam cleaning where required. - Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, staff areas, offices, and common areas. - Emptying rubbish bins, replacing liners, and disposing of waste appropriately - Restocking consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. - Cleaning glass, mirrors, stainless steel surfaces, and other detailed finish areas - Operating cleaning equipment and using cleaning chemicals safely and correctly. - Following workplace health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and reporting hazards or maintenance issues. - Maintaining cleaning equipment, supplies, and storage areas in good order.

- Must be reliable, honest, hardworking, and able to work independently and have good attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high cleaning standards. - Must be physically fit and able to carry out manual cleaning duties. - Must be available to work rostered shifts. Must communicate professionally and work well with clients and team members. - Because this role involves working independently and unsupervised at client premises, including commercial businesses and health-related facilities, applicants must be able to meet client site access and health and safety requirements. - Must be able to pass pre-employment checks, including MOJ and drug testing - Must be able to work during weekend and public holidays if required.

Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided to the right person.
