About this job

An exciting fixed-term position is available for a Talent ID Manager, leading youth-focused talent pipeline initiatives across the retail sector. This is a highly external, relationship-driven role, working closely with retailers, schools, universities, and tertiary providers across Auckland.

Key Responsibilities: • School & tertiary outreach, presentations, and career workshops • Development of early-career and youth employment pathways • Employer branding and youth engagement initiatives (e.g. 7Jobs7Days campaign) • Event and programme management (recruitment days, workshops, immersion sessions) • Stakeholder engagement with employers, MSD, education providers, iwi and community groups

Role Expectations: • Primarily field-based, engaging directly with stakeholders across Auckland • Some flexibility to work from home and occasional use of a ServiceIQ base • Strong self-starter who can help shape and grow this new role • Confident communicator both on the phone and in front of groups • Outgoing, proactive, and comfortable working independently

Job Requirements

Key Requirements: • 4+ years’ experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, youth development, or education • Strong public speaking and facilitation skills • Excellent relationship management capability • Understanding of NZ labour market and youth employment landscape • Event coordination experience • Full driver licence required

Desirable: • Retail industry experience • Understanding of NCEA, Te Pukenga, and NZ education pathways • Experience working with Maori and Pasifika communities
