Duty Manager – Liquor Store Positions - 1x Tauriko 1x Te Puke area

A local employer is currently seeking two reliable and experienced Duty Managers to join the liquor store teams—one position based in Tauriko and one in Te Puke.

As a Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth operations while maintaining full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee store operations during your shift • Ensure all alcohol sales comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 • Supervise and support retail staff • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve any customer issues • Manage daily operations including cash handling and stock control • Ensure the store operates within licensed hours • Maintain store security and safety standards • Follow all health and safety procedures • Take legal responsibility for store compliance while on duty

Requirements: • LCQ (Licence Controller Qualification) required • Previous experience in a similar role within the liquor or retail industry preferred • Ability to pass a drug test • Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) background check • Reliable and able to work flexible hours

Position Details: • Min 30 hours per week • Pay rate: $25 – $30 per hour (depending on experience) • Rostered shifts between Monday to Sunday, 9:30 AM – 9:00 PM • 1 position in Tauriko • 1 position in Te Puke
