Seasonal Vegetation Worker

A Brightwater based civil contractor is seeking seasonal vegetation workers for remedial planting work over the winter planting season (May to August). If you enjoy hands on outdoor work and want to contribute to meaningful flood recovery projects, this is a great opportunity to be part of a positive, supportive crew making a difference to the region.
You will be working across a range of sites harvesting and planting willow and poplar species, supporting river restoration, and helping improve the health of local landscapes and provide stability of the waterways. This is physical, rewarding work in all weather conditions, perfect for people who enjoy being outdoors and working as part of a team.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Harvesting and planting willow and poplar to project specifications.
Handling and transporting plants, tools, and materials.
Supporting erosion control and flood restoration activities.
Working efficiently as part of a mobile crew.
Following all safety and environmental procedures.
What You Will Bring:
Good physical fitness for repetitive hands on outdoor work.
Class 1 licence preferred.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Reliability and strong teamwork skills.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Experience in planting, landscaping, or outdoor labour is an advantage but not essential.

- Full time. Mon- Fri. Exact hours to be confirmed. (40 hours per week)
