An employer is looking for a passionate Farm Assistant join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to assist the team with milking their herd of 1180. The chosen applicant will assist with: Milking Cows, assisting with calving/calf rearing and mating Shifting Irrigators, break fencing, managing cows into allocated paddocks, general good care of stock, weed spraying and assisting with general farm maintenance.
We hope to fill this position with an employee looking for long term farm progression, as we have the capability of offering a pathway for the right applicant who has aspirations of progressing to a Farm Manager role in the future.
On farm shared accommodation is available and included in your package which is up to healthy homes standard. Applicants must provide an updated CV (the Te Heke Mai.co.nz CV Builder format is acceptable)
Job Requirements
The successful applicant must be honest/reliable/a team player; Clear criminal record required and maybe subject to drug testing.

- 35-50 hours a week 6 days on 2 days off roster rotation. (35 hours per week)
