General Hand
About this job
A General Hand is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the New Energy construction project. Duties involve performing a variety of tasks as directed, manual and equipment assisted, to ensure the project is completed to a high standard and according to plan. Perform manual tasks as required for the preparation, assembly and installation of project materials. Including but not limited to lifting, carrying, excavation and drilling. Operate basic construction equipment and tools such as hand tools, power tools and machinery, under guidance. Safely operate construction vehicles to assist with material movements. Learn, understand and comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), communicated procedures, and Inspection and Testing Checklists (ITCs). Perform any additional duties as directed by management, including manual tasks, to support the overall success of the team and project. Actively participate in daily toolbox talks.
Job Requirements
Required: Full Class 1 Drivers Licence Previous experience in a similar role Physical strength and stamina for manual labour tasks

- 45 Hours per week, Monday - Friday. Fixed term positions with contract opportunities ranging from 8-week to 19-week durations (45 hours per week)
