Rest Home Caregiver

A Northcote Point rest home is seeking an experienced Caregiver to join their supportive team. In this role, you will provide high quality care to elderly residents and assist with all activities of daily living.

Key Responsibilities • Support residents with personal cares including showering dressing grooming and mobility • Ensure residents receive adequate food and fluid intake • Encourage and support independence wherever possible • Assist with safe mobility and transfers • Maintain a warm respectful and person centred approach at all times • Accurately document all cares provided to ensure continuity of care

• Minimum 2 years’ recent Aged Care experience • Preference for candidates with a Level 4 Health & Wellbeing Qualification • Strong commitment to person centred care • A full Class 1 Driver Licence and own reliable transport to commute to/from the Rest Home when on late night/early morning shift • Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing needs • Must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check
