Store Manager
About this job
Plan, organise, and oversee daily operations of the bakery cafe and Retail store to ensure efficient retail performance. Supervise staff, prepare rosters, allocate duties, and maintain adequate staffing during peak periods. Recruit, train, and monitor staff performance, ensuring high standards of customer service, food handling, and workplace compliance. Manage stock control, purchasing, and inventory levels to minimise wastage. Monitor sales trends to determine product range, pricing, and promotions. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate operational and financial records, liaising with the owner and accountant as required. Oversee customer service, resolve enquiries or complaints, and ensure a positive customer experience. Manage retail displays and store presentation, and support marketing activities including social media and community engagement.
