Full time housekeeper, Cleaner & Host – Wellington

Main Responsibilities: The role involves carrying out daily, thorough cleaning of the residence and selected areas of the Embassy, including rooms, bathrooms, kitchen spaces, windows, and floors. You will be responsible for washing, drying, and ironing clothing, including handling delicate garments with care.

You will also clean and maintain high-end furniture such as wood, marble, and delicate fabrics, using appropriate cleaning products. Regular tasks include changing bed linens, making beds, and ensuring that both public and private areas of the residence and Embassy remain clean, organised, and well-maintained.

In addition, you will manage and organise cleaning supplies, assist with receiving deliveries, and support hosting duties during official functions or visits. This may include preparing and setting up small events, arranging refreshments and table settings, greeting guests in a professional manner, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. Maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy at all times is essential in this role. Leave will be in accordance with the Embassy’s official holiday calendar. You will get public holidays off.
