Retail Assistant

Exciting opportunity in new retail superette/food store in Milldale for full time retail assistants. Duties include: • Assist customers by providing product information and helping them locate items in the store • Replenish shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed and well stocked • Assist with stock rotation and expiry date checks to ensure product freshness and reduce wastage • Operate the cash register and process cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately • Unpack deliveries, check incoming stock, and organise products in storage and display areas • Maintain store cleanliness and ensure aisles and shelves are tidy and well presented • Assist with setting up promotional displays and special offers • Help maintain pricing accuracy by checking labels and updating shelf tickets when required • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficient store operations and customer satisfaction • Assist with end-to-end online order fulfilment, including accurately picking and packing orders, coordinating dispatch, and supporting timely delivery

• Reliable, organised, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. • Relevant experience is preferred but not mandatory as we provide training. • A valid driver’s license is required. • Flexibility to start early or finish late, depending on the shift schedule. • Able to work independently as well as part of a team. • Physically fit to stand for a longer duration. • Hardworking and passionate individual. • The candidates may also be required to travel within the region for the performance of duties and the cost of travel and fuel will be covered by the employer.
