Class 2 drivers - Roading
About this job
The Class 2 Driver Roading supports roading and civil construction activities by operating Class 2 vehicles and assisting with site based roading works. The role focuses on safety quality and reliable delivery of work.
Key Responsibilities: • Operate Class 2 vehicles safely and in accordance with road rules and site procedures • Complete daily vehicle pre start checks and report faults • Transport and unload roading materials plant and equipment • Assist with roading works such as maintenance repairs drainage and general civil tasks • Work safely around traffic management and follow TMP instructions • Maintain clean vehicles tools and work areas
Job Requirements
- Current NZ Class 2 Driver Licence - Experience in roading, civil construction, or infrastructure maintenance - Good physical fitness and ability to do manual labour - Strong safety awareness and attention to detail - Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude. - WTR endorsement is advantageous - Must pass MOJ - Must pass a drug check
- Days of work
- Hours between Monday to Saturday 6am to 7pm as determined by the needs of the business. (30 hours per week)
