Class 2 Truck Driver & Machine Operator – Hamilton / Waikato Region
We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Truck Driver who is also a competent Machine Operator to join our civil and earthworks team based in Hamilton, working across the wider Waikato region.
Key Responsibilities • Operate Class 2 trucks to transport materials, machinery, and equipment • Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain roadworthy condition Safely load and unload materials • Operate machinery including excavators, dozers, compactors, and rollers • Carry out bulk earthworks, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation • Work closely with site supervisors and crew
Site & Safety • Follow site plans and instructions • Comply with all health and safety requirements • Identify and report hazards or maintenance issues • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements • Valid Class 2 driver’s licence • Experience in civil or earthworks projects preferred • Ability to operate heavy machinery is an advantage
Job Requirements
• Full Class 2 Driver Licence • Ability to pass pre employment drug test • Ability to pass criminal background checks • Valid and current licenses and endorsements • Current WTR endorsements • Proven experience operating Excavators, Dozers, Compactors, Rollers • Ability to do stay away work.

- Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday work. Flexible working hours (45.5 hours per week)
