Runner / Sorter

If you prefer working outdoors with a small team, moving around and keeping busy, along with the freedom of not having to do evening or weekend work, then this could be the role for you. We're looking for an enthusiastic Runner/Sorter to help the team at a local refuse/recycling company by assist with rubbish collections and help clear the recycling at their yard in the industrial estate. You should be health and safety conscious, willing to undertake training and motivated to help out wherever needed, as variety keeps things interesting and keeps you learning. Applicants should be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and further drug and alcohol tests during work hours where required. The company is keen to upskill and train up employees who are keen to learn and progress . This is an entry-level role and a stepping-stone towards other roles within the business. All protective clothing is provided.

-Physical fitness is essential as the role involves lifting, running and lots of movement. -Able to work outdoors in all weathers -Health and Safety focused and able to follow company processes Provide assistance to drivers and colleagues -Able to pass a pre-employment drug test -Consent to MOJ check - criminal convictions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. -Applicants must have ability to get to the Taupo Industrial Estate area by 6am
