Truck Drivers (Classes 2, 4, or 5) - Tauhara

If you have experience driving trucks (Classes 2, 4 and/or 5), have good all-round skills with a can-do attitude, are willing to help your colleagues when needed, and undertake training and learn new skills, then please contact us. A local refuse/recycling collection company is looking to recruit two full time, permanent truck drivers (plus some casual truck drivers). The permanent roles require drivers ideally with at least 1-2 years experience, who are as happy jumping out of the truck to lend a hand when needed, as they are driving the trucks. However if you are currently on a Class 2 learner licence, and you have a good work ethic and all round skills, then get in touch, too. Work is Monday to Friday for a minimum of 40 hours per week, with more hours available. These are physical roles, so fitness is as important as truck driving skills for the permanent roles. (Please note casual roles on fewer, more flexible hours are also available for drivers with the right experience, skills and availability. Less physical work is needed for these casual roles – as agreed with the employer. ) The company is always looking to upskill and develop good staff who work hard, can step up when needed, and are keen to progress. This includes company-paid training for new truck licenses. Please let us know which role you are interested in when you apply.
