Working foreman

Civil contracting staff - site supervisor, working foreman, leading hand - required for a medium-sized civil contracting company, based in Tuakau but working NZ-wide. We do dredging, de-watering, grouting, underground work, pipe ramming, leak repair, Bentonite plant operation, equipment hire. PLEASE NOTE: there is some working away from home We are seeking applications from candidates who have, and can demonstrate: Skills and experience in general civil works, and drainage (desirable) Possess initiative, common sense, a positive attitude and work ethic Be physically strong with full mobility and weigh less than 115kg (to use safety gear) Be able to work away from home occasionally Be proactive with regard to health and safety MUST have a full current driver's licence MUST reside in NZ and be legally able to work in NZ. Starting hourly rate is dependent on skills, qualifications and experience, ranging from $30-$50/hour dependent on experience

Preferably experience in the storm and wastewater industries Experience drainage, pump stations, dredging, dewatering Knowledge of bentonite. familiar with contracting equipment - generators, pumps, hoses, fittings. Must have Class 1 Full NZDL Be able to work away from home occasionally Physically fit with full mobility (must be under 115kg to safely use required equipment) Must be able to pass pre-employment test (MOJ & Drug test)
