Shift Manager (Botany/East Tamaki)

A fastfood restaurant based in Botany/East Tamaki is seeking a Shift Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a hands-on position; working to make and serve big, bold, deliciousness (great burgers) to everyone.

Duties include: • Supervising a small team of Fast Food workers (Cooks & Kitchen Hands) and supporting them to be successful by coaching, ensuring breaks are taken, etc. • Ensuring that all operational standards are met, including food safety, quality & customer measures. • Problem solving should issues arise and escalating to experts as required (e.g. if kitchen machinery requires repairing). • Ensuring the Health & Safety of all employees. • Assisting with promoting restaurant profitability, e.g. focusing on costs and maximising customer opportunities.

Minimum experience in team management, including overseeing team members in a fast food, hospitality, retail, or similar environment.

Strong people skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Exceptional communication abilities, with the capability to foster a positive team culture and working environment.

Experience in onboarding new employees, as well as staff training and motivation (preferred).

Must be physically fit with the ability to manage stock processes, including unpacking deliveries and handling inventory (role involves heavy lifting).
